Inspired by my black Lab, Miss Molly, and a few close friends, in 2005 I gave up my first career in the corporate fashion world for a more heartfelt and personally rewarding career in pet grooming.
Graduating the Nash Academy of Animal Arts, 15 years ago, I became a Certified Pet Groomer.
Soon thereafter, I purchased and converted a Sprinter Van, which became “Miss Molly’s Mobile Pet Spa & Boutique, Inc.”. I groomed hundreds of dogs and cats during the last nine years in Bergen, Hudson and Passaic counties. Many are loyal clients to this day.
In order to serve existing clients better and to meet the demand for our personal grooming service, in 2015, I opened “Miss Molly’s Lap Of Luxury Grooming Salon” in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
The layout is very spacious and allows each dog to wait for their owner in a separate room, if being caged is not for them. Our styling room has a large window, facing the Plaza ,where you can watch your dog as his hair is being cut or combed out.
A highlight and unique offering is our private grooming suite. This is a must for cats, but is also very popular with puppies, senior, nervous and aggressive dogs that need their privacy, while being groomed.
